The agreement was signed by Sergio Morales, director of IDHUSAC, and Ricardo Changala, president of the lacommunis Association. Both institutions expressed their willingness to cooperate, within the framework of their respective mandates, objectives, and procedures, to improve the effectiveness of their efforts and contribute to institutional development from a human rights perspective.

The planned cooperation covers areas such as the promotion of individual and collective rights, institutional strengthening, the development of communication strategies and actions, as well as the conduct of studies and research on topics of common interest. This agreement seeks to coordinate institutional capacities to address challenges related to the rights and social reality of Indigenous Peoples and Afro-descendants.
